Qi, Blood, Water

Another basic element in Oriental medicine is "Qi, Blood, and Water".

"Qi" is the flow of energy, and the source of power. "Blood" nourishes and moisturizes the body. "Water" is the element responsible for metabolism, such as saliva, sweat, and urine.

When the circulation of "Qi" in the body is not stagnant, "Blood" flow is smooth, and "Water" metabolism stays moderate. Preserving this state leads to health.
