Basic concept of Oriental medicine

The Basic philosophy of Oriental medicine is that everything in this world consists of 2 sides--Yin and Yang. According to this theory, Yin and Yang are considered to be supportive and cooperative, rather than mutually exclusive.

Relationship between human and the concept

This theory of Yin and Yang can be applied to human body. For example, when the body catches cold and develops a fever, it triggers sweating to lower the temperature by itself. We have self-healing power. Our bodies are constantly changing inside and keeping the balance to avoid tilting too much to either Yin or Yang.
